Curry here is amazing! One of my go-to lunch spots in Rochester. Great spot for dinner as well.
Great food!
I'm from Canada and found this place while working here. I must say that this is the best and tasty thai and Laos food in town. Price is fair and recommend it. Clean and great service.
I thought the food was good, not as tasty as I thought the dish i ordered would be. My biggest complaint is that the online menu states that they have beef satay, and they no longer do 😦 The girl at the front was very nice though 😊
Such a pretty, quaint little place. Authentic Thai food, good sized menu, great variety. Cozy as can be, and even though the service is often just the SUPER pleasant owner, food doesn't take long and is always seasons perfectly. Highly recommend for a date or quiet dinner with friends. And if this hasn't sounded perfect enough, it's BYOB.
Never had Thai Food. All four dishes were great...the Green Curry Chicken, Shrimp Roll with fresh basil, etc. Would go there again and again.
Fresh veggies, beautifully presented, good size portions, yummy curry and basil sause. Kind, happy server. No alcohol, but I had a delicious Thai ice tea for a treat. Very refreshing.
Awesome drunken noodles
Great place !
Not very attentive I was pretty much her only other customer and she never checked on me and when I was ready to take the check it took some time good food though.
Exceptional menu and I've never tried anything I didn't like in the 5+yrs I've eaten here. All time favorite is the drunken noodle plate!
I love this Thai food! The mango peanut fried rice! Send it! I like the owner too.
First time here but the food is great! The portions were good, the menu was diverse, and we'll definitely be making frequent return visits.
I love this place. To be honest I can't say that I've had Thai food at a bunch of different places but I have enjoyed every meal I have had at Papaya Thai.
Liked it but it's definitely New England style Thai food. (Little bland) Fortunately you can always add plenty of Sriracha and if you are feeling brave ask for "Thai spicy instead of Farang". Enjoyable meal and portions are HUGE. BYOB is a nice surprise.
Love love love thier chicken Larb. They know what they're doing in that kitchen. Owner is so pleasant and always with a smile. Good stuff!
The food is always great. It is one of my favorite places.
Very nice. Friendly, good service, great food. Careful with my food allergies. We'll definitely be coming back! Thanks for a great experience.
Good is always absolutely amazing
My boyfriend and I tried Papaya Thai tonight for the first time and it was great! Normally I'm not a fan of Thai food but my boyfriend loves it so I was skeptical but this restaurant completely changed my mind. The food was delicious, the wait staff was very attentive and personable and the prices were great! We had a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back!
Great food. If you like genuinely spicy dishes, you can find them here (they can do mild, too). Everything tastes freshly made, with perfectly crisp vegetables. Well worth a visit!
Always good food & equally good service. Recommended!!
Absolutely hands down the best Thai food I have ever had!
Food and service is always great!
Food was great. Portions reasonable. Prices good. Only one server working so service wasn’t great. Would go again!
Great food with quick service. Order and pick is always a pleasure.
Went here today and got a vegetarian curry and asked her if there was meat in it she said no so I got it and then when I picked it up she said it was a vegetarian curry and I started to eat it and I found chicken in when you label something vegetarian you need to absolutely make sure there is no meat in it I’m very disappointed. Then when I called to tell her and ask for a new one she hung up on me.
Fast service, Great tasting, Healthy food. Quiet and cozy even when a full house. Romantic atmosphere. Also has a small bar area. My new favorite ~☆☆☆☆☆
Incredible food, perhaps the best Thai food I've ever had. Friendly staff. And they aren't afraid to make your meal nice and spicy. Highly recommended.
We had drunken noodle Spicy Thai stir-fried noodle dish with egg assorted veggies fresh bean sprouts basil leaves and sprinkled with ground roasted peanuts which is like Heavenly really. We also had Pad Thai famous Thai stir-fried noodle dish with egg bean sprouts scallions and sprinkled with ground roasted peanuts. This is the best Thai restaurant in the state of New Hampshire that I have been to and polite possibly even further. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Rochester but now that I live in Sanbornville I'm not in Rochester quite as much anymore but I definitely recommend you stop by and check it out they have a wonderful atmosphere inside to that would make a great date night for couples.
Excellent Pad Thai and Phõ!
Homemade Beef Pho 🍜 with homemade garlic chili oil was ABSOLUTELY and SPECTACULARLY DELICIOUS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fun staff and great I mean great drunken noodles
The Pho here is quite delicious. Has a really rich flavor and the XL size is definitely for anyone with a huge appetite. At first, the service was a little slow as I believe the staff was short handed but by the time we got our food we saw two other employees with one person who was very attentive with our water and made us feel better. We'll definitely come back here soon. Excellent price and service overall.
Decent Thai food at a good price. Friendly service and quick takeout turnaround time.
Service was great the waitress always refilled water before i asked food came out promptly i got the chicken patay it was just overpowered by the taste of peanuts
Best food, very friendly staff, constantly good character. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is good. Fantastic work.
Yes. More please.Very good quality food here. Nice selection too. Can't wait to come back.
Great selection of food. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. Service is great. Love it, some of the best Thai around!!
Foods good the decor is nothing special bring your own wine
Food is pretty good, standard thai options. Always a very small staff trying to multitask, one person running dining, take out, register etc so expect slow service. One person cooking so don't expect to get your food together if you are dining with someone. They did not renew their liquor license so limited drink options =sodas and water or tea. The place is small but clean, there is around six or so tables in the dining area and two in what used to be the bar. They could much better utilize the space now. The prices are a little high for being skimpy with the meat but standard for the type of cuisine. They do a lot of takeout.
Good food and lots of great pho options
Very delicious!
We came here with a big group of kids. They were very accommodating and the food was great!!!
Really nice! Love the Pad Thai, and spring rolls are to die for. Definitely recommend.
I've been to this restaurant three times. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are always good. I'm a big fan of the curry, and every time I try something new on the menu I'm impressed with how much you can taste the consistency in effort and quality across all the dishes. The menu is nice and easy to understand too.
Great spot to have some Thai.I've only had the pho and the tom yum and kha soup here, but both are pretty good. The pho tastes a tad bit "off" than I'm used to, but otherwise, the cilantro and scallions are definitely fresh and this is closer to me than the fusion restaurant in Dover. The owner is very friendly and funny-enough, can be stereotypically-Asian-motherlike, which I find great.Small spot, easy to find, and good food. Highly recommended.
Excellent food and service
Inexpensive and authentic as one could want! An instant favorite!
